"Medical Therapy in Epilepsy: Treatment, Side Effects, Drug Interactions"
Treatment for people with epilepsy most often begins with anti-seizure medication. Controlling seizures, avoiding medication side effects, and maintaining the best possible quality of life are common aims of therapy. Mood and behavior side effects related to antiseizure medications are well established and are important to consider when deciding how to treat a person's epilepsy seizures.
